    Rick Sanchez was born in the city of Guanabacoa, Cuba, on July 3, 1958. He then emigrated with his parents to the United States at the age of two.     Career As a Journalist

    Sanchez began his broadcasting career at WCCO’s satellite sister station Alexandria, Minnesota, while still in college. He appeared in WSVN in Miami in 1982 and became a weekend anchor shortly after that, and he also worked for KHOU in Houston. 

    Sanchez also appeared at MSNBC in 2001. In 2003, Sanchez left MSNBC to return to the Miami TV market, where he hosted a local talk show on WTVJ. He later anchored on then-WB affiliated WBZL until he joined CNN in 2004. Also, read about Vladimir Duthierss biography.

    Sanchez has posted national and international stories on CNN. For eight months, he anchored Out at 8 p.m. ET at the Open at the interval between Paula Zahn and Campbell Gray. On January 18, 2010, Rick’s List, his two-hour series, welcomed viewers to share views and questions via social media and began to be held in the afternoons.

    And once Campbell Brown’s show has ended, he has again taken over the 8 p.m. EST slot for a Rick’s List evening, which has continued to be premiered by Parker Spitzer. On 27 July 2011, the Washington Post announced that Sanchez had started working as a Florida International University radio announcer.
