Scottish actor Peter Mullan came out of the closet and renowned his name into the list of successful actors in Hollywood. He finds there is nothing else rather than a challenge to bring the best in a man after coming from the comfort zone.
Mullan was born on 2nd November 1959 in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Following his birth, he and his parents, Patricia Mullan and Charles Mullan settled down in the town of Paisley. His late father was a lab technician at Glasgow University, who died in 1976 due to lung cancer after suffering.
After the demise of Peter’s father, he grew up with his seven siblings under the guidance of his mom, who served as a nurse to feed them. But, he shortly joined the wrong company in his teenage period and became homeless for four years. In the meantime, he was a member of a street fighting gang and worked as a bouncer in Glasgow’s based pubs.

Before marrying Robina, Mullan was in a marital relationship with an actress and screenwriter, Ann Swan. The former pair walked down the aisle in an intimate ceremony on 1st June 1989 while in close contact of their family, friends, and relatives.
After staying together in marriage for an overall 17 years, they filed for divorce and separated in 2006, citing irreconcilable differences. They also took the custody of their three children following divorce settlement at the registered court on the same year.
