American actor, Norbert Leo Butz rose to prominence with his amazing character, Clay in the romantic comedy-drama movie, Dan in Real Life. He also grabbed the attention of millions with his portrayal of Steve in the biographical thriller drama film, Fair Game.
Butz was born as Norby Kitty on 30th January 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. He is one of the 11 children of Elaine Bourisaw Butz, a homemaker and Norbert Butz, Sr., who both were devout Catholics.
Norbert grew up with his six older brothers, including Jim Butz and three younger sisters. Unfortunately, one of his sisters, Teresa Butz died on 19th July 2009, after a mugger raped and stabbed her and her partner, Jennifer Hopper in Seattle, Washington, D.C.
