Lisa Desjardins started her career as a journalist on the local WBTW TV station in Myrtle Beach. She later worked as an investigative reporter for The Sun News and Reuters, the news agency.

In October 1999, Lisa quit her position in The Sun News and became a government analyst for Columbia’s NBC affiliate WIS. She served at WIS and covered the state sessions of South Carolina and the 2000 republican presidential primaries.

Lisa is a Washington, D.C. newswoman. The Associated Press Museum in 2003. She joined CNN and worked there from 2005 to 2014 for nine years. In 2008, CNN was honored with a Peabody Award.

After CNN Radio was shut down because of a variety of disagreements in June 2013, it moved to the Washington bureau of CNN, where it served as a reporter for Capitol Hill.
