Juju Chang is an award-winning journalist, who first grabbed the spotlight with her off-air reporting on the 1991 Gulf War to the 1992 historical presidential election. She also interviewed many high-profile personalities, like former president of South Korea, Lee Myung-bak, and the 8th United Nations secretary-general, Ban Ki-moon.
Juju as born as Hyunju Chang on 17th September 1965 in Seoul, South Korea. At the age of 4, she moved to Sunnyvale, California with her parents, Okyong Chang and Palki Chang from South Korea in 1969.
After moving to the United States, Chang enrolled at Marian A. Peterson High School in 1970. But, she then transferred to Adrian C. Wilcox High School and graduated in the class of 1983. During her high school days, she had a keen interest in swimming and noted as a national swimmer.
