Her mother might be a star at the red carpet events but she rarely accompanies her. Moreover, Jackie has never treaded over her mother’s famous TV show The View. Although being one and the only daughter of TV Guide’s 50 Greatest TV Stars of All Time, Jackie has never let media intrude on her personal space. Her mother also seems to respect and support her privacy she once said;
I was so busy with a career. It’s the age-old problem. And, you know, on your deathbed, are you going to say, ‘I wish I spent more time in the office?’ No. You’ll say, ‘I wish I spent more time with my family,’ and I do feel that way. I wish I had spent more time with my Jackie.
Her Mother Remarried the Same Person Twice
Barbara tied the first marital knot with Robert Henry Katz who was a business executive and former Navy lieutenant on June 20, 1955. Their wedding ceremony was held at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. After 11 months, the couple’s marriage was annulled. Barbara and Robert didn’t share any kids.

After her failed marriage with Robert, Barbara began dating theatrical producer and theater owner Lee Guber. The pair married on December 8, 1963. Five years later in 1976, the couple adopted Jackie. Besides Jackie, they didn’t have any biological kids. The same year, Barbara and Lee’s divorce was finalized.
Eventually, Barbara met Lorimar Television’s CEO, Merv Adelson. They exchanged wedding rings in 1981. But like previous marriages, this one also proved to be a failure. They divorced three years later in 1984. But the duo reconciled to marry two years later and remarried in 1986. After spending six years together, Barbara and Merv again filed for divorce and they separated legally in 1992. After that, Barbara dated lawyer Roy Cohn, US Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, US Senator John Warner, US Senator from Massachusetts Edward Brooke, and Pulitzer Prize-winning gerontologist Robert Neil Butler.

Now 90 years old Barbara is probably single. IN CNN’s 2014 Piers Morgan Live, Barbara disclosed that she regretted most not having more kids. She said;
I regret not having more children. I would have loved to have had a bigger family. I have one daughter. I don’t have brothers and sisters. I had a sister that I loved and she was developmentally challenged, I guess, is how they put it.
Additionally, Barbara wished she had a bigger family.
