    Gerald was born on August 19, 1947. His parents were Clyde and Edna McRaney in Collins, Mississippi, United States. Gerald’s father was an entrepreneur and realtor. McRaney grew up with a sister named Ann and brother, named Buddy in the state of Magnolia. His parents were Scottish and Choctaw.

    Gerald McRaney studied at Mississippi University. He served in the Louisiana oil fields before he made it big as an artist. He starred In Night of Bloody Horror (1969) after a while in the film. He has appeared in several episodes of ‘The Incredible Hulk.’ He has acted as Dan’s father in several TV movies, including ‘Not Our Baby’ (1995), ‘Going for Broke’ (2003), and General George S. Patton.

    In 2010, Geralt starred as vile General Morrison in The A-Team (2010), and as CIA chief, Carlton Shaw played a recurring role in the NBC ‘Undercovers’ action drama. Again in 2011, he played a part in ‘Longmire’ TV shows. In 2015 Bucky Spurgeon and Coat of Several Colors were part of the dark comedy ‘Focus.’
