His Late Father, Glenn Married Twicely
Deacon’s beloved dad, Glenn, first married an American musical artist, Janie Beggs on 17th June 1983. The pair, however, filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences after six years together and concluded their divorce on the registered court in 1988.
Two years after the divorce, Glenn met a professional dancer and choreographer, Cindy Millican (Deacon’s mother) on one of his music video shootings in the late-1980s. The pair then united as husband and wife on 30th June 1990.
On 18th January 2016, the pair’s marriage ended traumatically after the death of Glenn due to the complications from Rheumatoid Arthritis, Acute Ulcerative Colitis, and Pneumonia. He was later buried at the Standin’ on the Corner Park in Winslow, Arizona at the age of 67.
Grew up with Two Siblings
Glenn Frey’s older son, Deacon spent his childhood with his older sister, Taylor Deacon (born in 1992), and his younger brother, Otis Deacon (born in 2003). After the death of their father, their mother, Cindy took three of her children under her wings and raised them in a good environment.
Deacon’s older sister, Taylor, is reportedly working for an education management company, Individual U as a program director and mentor. She is also a sketch artist, who appeared on the sketch comedy show, The Dallas Spiders Club. Her latest book, Two Trains Leave Paris, published on 14th May 2019.
